Let's Sing, Friends...

Today, 14 May, the festival “The Singing Male Brotherhood” opens the Days of Russian Culture in Nizhny.

Male choirs from the Arkhangelsk region, Kirov, the Krasnodar territory, Moscow, Magnitogorsk, Nizhny Tagil, Chelyabinsk, Perm, Petrozavodsk, Saratov, Sverdlovsk and, of course, Nizhny Novgorod take part in it.

The festival is dedicated to the approaching Day of Slavic Literature and Culture. Notably, among the sponsors of the festival is the Annunciation Cathedral of the Russian Orthodox Church.

The ceremonial opening is at 2 p.m. at the premises of the Boys’ Choir Chapel on Minin Square. On 15 May the choirs will perform for students of music schools and colleges in Nizhny, Arzamas and Dzerzhinsk.
