The choir school is preparing to mark this anniversary with concerts that include about 40 works, the best examples of Russian classical music. The concert featured choral works by Tchaikovsky, Bortnyansky, Berezovsky, Kastalsky and Prokofiev, as well as Russian folk songs.
Some of the items, performed by the mixed choir of boys and youths of the choir school and the chamber choir, were dedicated to V. P. Malyshev, the organiser and first director of the Chapel.
